Common Questions from Kansas City Homeowners
Get quick answers about our process, timelines, and what to expect before, during, and after your flooring installation.
How long does flooring installation take?
Most projects take 1–3 days depending on the size of the space and the type of flooring. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.
Do I need to move my furnitire before installation?
We recommend clearing smaller items ahead of time. We can help move larger furniture if needed. Just let us know in advance.
What type of flooring is best for my home?
It depends on your space, lifestyle, and budget. LVP is great for durability and moisture resistance, carpet adds comfort, and hardwood offers a timeless look. We can help you decide.
Do you handle subfloor prep and repairs?
Yes. Proper prep is key to a long-lasting floor. We inspect and address any subfloor issues before installation.
Will there be a lot of dust or mess?
We keep job sites clean and organized. Some dust is unavoidable, but we take steps to minimize it and clean up thoroughly after the job.
Can you install flooring over existing floors?
In some cases, yes. It depends on the condition and type of the existing floor. We’ll evaluate and recommend the best approach.
How soon can I walk on the new floors?
For most LVP and carpet, you can walk on them right away. Tiles and certain installs may require some curing time and we’ll guide you on that accordingly.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide straightforward, no-pressure estimates so you know exactly what to expect.
